I have just been appointed as Trading Hut Secretary for an Allotment Association

Can anyone recommend good wholesale supliers for general garden products

I am also looking for suppliers of sundries such as paper bags, polythene bags etc.

Congratulations!

Can I suggest you go for paper bags - biodegradable. Also ask members to save up supermarket carrier bags for you.  Your best bet for supplier there is to ask in local owner run shops such as newsagents and offies.

Seeds, I believe Kings offer 40% on bulk orders.

Ask landscape gardeners in your area for their suppliers for bulk such as sand, composts etc. I know a good one local to me that has 2 pricelists and allotment associations get the lower one.

Good Luck!

there is a local company near to us both that sells paper bags ect. i will try to get the number for you today. for plastic bags we use a chap selling under the name of "skyman sacks" ( sounds like a jazz band member) i will find out next week what his number is. :D
as for the wholesale suppliers of gardening "stuff", they are many and varied. depends on what you want. if you email me i will try to get a list of some good ones that we use at work.

In our old allotment shop we used to weigh up the loose stuff like lime, growmore ect and put it into used dry plastic milk containers, which you can write on and keeps it dry in your shed :)
Most seed companys like Tuckers, Mr Fothergills ect will give you a good discount also Proctor sell all the loose stuff but you have to order a ton so get together with another local site and do a joint order :)
