(I'm sure I've answered this same question on a different forum already this week!  

I'll be trying Kale and different types of beans this year; have never actually tried real broad beans, runner beans etc with this being my first year.

Will be going along to the Bowburn tatie thingie too!  Thanks Shaun!

Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Everything for me is new for 2008 as i only took the allotment on late summer this year, new rasps, gooseberries, onions and garlic in already and have ordered enough stuff to fill two plots probably, but just ordered in addition to that a Bavarian fig tree and a greengage.  Ah well in for a penny, in for a pound!

well im thinking i might try a carrot or a lettuce, but its not new for 2008, its going to be the first time ive tried to grow anything.....ever.

im even going to have a wander down the road to thompson and morgans to pick up a catalogue. my first seed catalogue too.

ooh 2008 is going to be an exciting year for trying new things :wink:

Carrot is difficult, Babe if you are serious about this first I'm growing anything, broccoli, corquette, kale those are easy.

and i dont even know what corquette is..... is nt it some sort of mashed potatoe rolled in bread crumbs :shock:
