Hi all,

We have had HARD Frosts and GALES on our plot, and like most newbies I have planted as soon as I could, ( Enthusiasm  )

The plastic green house has totally blown away, and I feared the worst with the frost, but my B Beans, turnips, raddish, onions etc, have all survived well.

Potting on toms, peppers and cucumbers at home, Mrs Oggy is very happy, just awaiting the weather, ..............can any one help with that.

It's interesting reading these forums where some people are weeks ahead of others. The difference between Devon and Scotland with all the shade in the middle.

Important thing is to work with your climate and whatever the books / back of the packet says, only sow and plant when things are right for it.

I started in january, but i moved everything out of greenhouse into cellar when it was 2 cold, i lost alot but got loads still, im just in the middle of thinning out everything i did beginning of spring... so far im ahead i think cant wait for them to start growing quicker now
