Drying/Storing Potatoes
« on: September 03, 2017, 11:47 »
When drying my spuds, I take a couple of shelves from my mini greenhouse and lay them over my wheelbarrow.  This allows the air to circulate freely, thus aiding the drying process.  Also, being 38mm square grill in the shelves, any spuds that fall through go straight indoors for cooking and putting in a salad!  However, I'm sure we all have our own ways of doing this.

I chose a nice sunny day, dig in the morning, return in the afternoon and grade in to keepers and users before bagging. store in a dry shed.

Yep, can see the logic.  Was going to dig my final row today but we have rain in Hampshire!
