I've just from bought one from Get Digging.  I phoned them up for some advice, very helpful indeed.

I've gone for a 7" one to finish digging over our clay lottie plot.  They are out of stock of that size at present as they have been so popular, but should be delivered to me in 10 -14 days.  Just about the time OH gets back from a business trip which he has set off for today.  Won't he be pleased

They come unwrapped with just a bit of cardboard round the blade - impresses the postie
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I was driving through Sheringham in Norfolk on Thursday afternoon when I saw a bloke parked up outside the Post Office with a great armful of these mattocks/azadas!!
Must be the bloke we buy 'em off doing a great trade by the look of the amount he was posting!!!!
You can take a horse to water....but a pencil must be lead!!

I have also ordered two, the heavy duty and the small/medium azada.
They sound impressive. Hope they perform as claimed on my clay based lottie.
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

They are the preferred tool here in various sizes and lengths of handle depending on what you are doing.  In fact you don't often see spades and when you do they are pointed because of the rocky ground that we have here.
