Should I scarify the lawn ?
« on: August 09, 2018, 20:42 »
Now we have had  bit of rain, the more shady part of the lawn is looking better.  Should I lightly rake the very dry bit, or will it pull any new growth out ?  Never had this happen before   Mrs Bouquet

This is something that you normally do in autumn when lawn grasses put out "tillers" that are side-shoots from the main stems which helps it to bulk up for the next season so I'd leave it for now.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Oh good.   Right now it is  like blotting paper, after  the torrential rain and gales today. :) :) Thanks, Mrs Bouquet
