ive planted my red onoins in pot in my greenhouse and some of them have a little bit of mould round the bottom but the roots are growing well , will they be ok or will i have to plant some more ?  :(

I always find they all tend to have some mold on when bought new. I have just got some and they have mold. I would still plant them.

I sowed some red spring onion seed this morning before work, we are going to try them this year and see how they go. My onion sets are doing well will be transplanted into the plot tomorrow if the weather is ok.
