After running a load of Pears and Apples through the juicer I have a load of pulp left, is there any use for this? :?

I'g guess it would make a great fast compost! I reckon it'd break down in days. Add some less easily digestible stuff with it for balance.

I put a load of spent grain and hops into my composter last week and it's rotting really fast. loads of tiny little flies though, I beleive they feed on the fungus that is growing on the goods.

Yes w.g they turned the machine off on thursday and he slipped away with all his family around him. He's in no pain now. :cry:

Thank you all for your sentiments. He was my only son and was born with congenital heart and lung problems, we had him for more years than the doctors predicted but it's still hard to accept.
