I got some Profender on-line last year but I can't access the firm's website to date and other sites state it is by prescription only. I want it for both roundworm and tapeworm so wonder if there is something else equally as good available on-line?

Unless things have changed recently you can only get profender with a prescription. I have only ever been able to get it from my vet. I can't think of any over the counter spot on wormers that will  kill both tapeworms and roundworms. Droncit do a tapeworm spot on but that's the only one I have seen.

Thanks maxiboo - that's what I am finding now. I got my Profender for large and small cats last November on-line without a prescription but I think I had to register my cats as to weight, etc, to get it. I can't do tablets unless I want to retain most of my skin!

I know what you mean! Mine always get spot ons as they are little monsters and I am rubbish at giving pills anyway. Panacur do granules and suspension which can be mixed into foods. I think that covers both worms. I manage to give it to the "strays" around here but my cats aren't fooled by it.
