Hi
In John's August jobs it says we can plant Cabbage and Cauli now for next year.
Would I now plant these where my Brassicas are going next year or do I plant them where my Brassicas are now?
Thanks
Martin

Either is OK but I would go with the current brassica bed. Keep in mind that the cabbage will probably not heart until April and the caulis may be later than that.
You have to think ahead to what you want to grow following on from them. If you put them in the current brassica bed you could follow them next year with late planted crops such as beans, courgettes, squashes or salads.

I always plant Spring cabbage in the gap where the earlier potatoes were.

Thank you both- that all makes sense and I need to do better planning!
