Okay you lot, stop bragging about the heat. It's -12C here today and we're just 2 days out of a bad snowstorm and expecting more tonight. I'll gladly, free of charge, send some your way if anyone wants any

And don't forget your cold tolerant seedlings in the unheated greenhouse, which can get very hot in sunny weather, even if it's not too warm!

Mine was 26C today. Air and vent and cool.

Guess what? I haven't got a greenhouse    And I'd need one whopping great freezer to store it for you Henry    Often wish myself that we could somehow save it for those scorchers we get here, I mean real hot weather in the 90's, sometimes low hundreds.

Oh Wildeone that just made me burst out laughing!

I am desperate to start planting but am still working on sorting my house out :S I also am still waiting for my compost delivery as i have some john innes seed compost in there....

However my fingers ARE gettijng really itchy - especially as my windowsill propogators and raised beds arrived yesterday - I have some UNOPENED compost that has been in my garage for abouyt 2 years will it still be sterile and nutritious enough to start seeds off or should I wait for the proper stuff to get delivered?

I'm having tomorrow off to start work on my new beds, we did all raised ones last year, and then bought a new house, so it's start all over again!!!

We now back on to fields and i have an inkling the rabbits are going to cause me the most problems this year  :?

I'm also going to Aldi first thing to get some of the fab offers!
