Hi, I haven't been on the forum for ages - so sorry about that.
I'm back because I think a rabbit is cropping the green shoots on my onions. My question is: will the bulbs continue to grow, or have they had it?

p.s. I put chicken wire around the other raised beds at the start of the season to keep the rabbits at bay, but I thought the onions would be safe - and they have been until very recently!

They will be fine, a bit like leeks chop the tops off and they regrow.

Thanks, Rowbow - that's a relief. But I suppose I'd better try to net them to prevent further damage.

Round here rabbits leave onions alone, but pheasants now, they are a different story! The onions will regrow but you might want to think about extending your chicken wire!
