Title: New allotment "fruit" corner
Post by: rogertb on May 18, 2018, 06:21
Hi again ... I've cleared my new plot and am doing OK but this is the dodgy area ... I'm not really interested in growing fruit but this corner had lots of "canes" in and I'm a little loathe to just cut it all down (there might be something good in there) so I thought I'd leave it until I see some results ... what do you think ?

Totally agree, leave for this season and then you'll know what you've got. Only you can decide if you want to keep them, once you know what they are!

I agree - it looks promising to me, but who would eat the fruit if you grow it?

If no one would, then it's not worth keeping, is it?

I must admit they look a bit spindly so I'd hoick them out and start afresh.
