Graham, I've got a pdf of the Hayter Condor if its any good?  PM me your email and I'll send it over.

As the file was big, 8.8mb, I've compressed it, so hope its still okay, as I'm not very au fait with compressing files anymore!!!

I have the Merry Tiller manual, but also have the colour catalogue/brochure that must have came with it and a price list from February 1973 if anybody is curious.

Hi everyone

I'm new here and need alittle help.........I have a Landmaster rotary hoe mark 1, with a villiers engine.

But...after a recent mishap (otherwise a little * jumping over my fence and snapping the spark plug head off with his foot ) I now need a new spark plug and my local stockists say I need the number of the spark plug and could get this from a manual, which I don't have even after months of searching the web.

Any help on either the manual or the spark plug would be great.

Kind regards

Ken

Any idea which Villiers engine it is?

Reason for asking is I have come across a supplier of engine manuals for Villiers but you'd need to know which engine. If this is of any help PM me and I'll pass on the link. :)

hi guys - have just borrowed a roti form a fried who aquired it ! no manual etc. now it started normally with lots of lovely blue smoke! ;) and seemed ok. however it on second use seemed to loose power and died. possible the mix fuel oil is wrong but without the instructions am a bit stuck. also the return spring for the starter ( yes i astound myself sometimes also with my technical knowledge!!!) seems to have failed as the pulley cord didnt go back in....had to stick my fingers underneath it to turn the wheel to get it to pull the cord back in.
the roti is a 3.5 super mountfield . there is also a plate which has brigs and stratton 4 cycle engine on it.anyone got a clue  about a manual or where i could get spares from?????? THANK YOU!!!!

ok, its 4 cycle that means 4 stroke in English so you don't need to mix oil and fuel, you should find a separate oil sump on it somewhere like a car  :)  and you can get B & S manuals online if you can find the model number. Why not post a new topic ? if you need further help
