Blast ... the polytunnel was very humid this weekend and I was busy and didn't get down to open more vents.
Today paid the penalty ... 4 tomatoes struck with early blight ... have pulled up the whole lot.  Will have to
convert into more cucumbers and chillis I guess .... And there were some lovely big marmandes in there.
Weird that the other tunnel didn't get but then there were more vents and more of a draught.

Are you certain it was blight ? The spores are airborne so are more likely to get into your tunnel when the vents are open. On the other hand a closed up tunnel can cause lots of other problems at this time of year.

It's more likely to have been Botrytis/Grey Mould, but that can also be awful if not noticed in time

Maybe hacking them back to remove affected areas you may have saved some of them.

Thanks for the feedback .. the stems had been affected and were going brown but the leaves did look like the botrytis photo so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't infect the other tunnel not far away.  I had thought it was early blight which can strike now ...but I've made sure there' much more ventilation and air flow in the other one.

Thanks also for the advice ... I'm going to use vinegar as I've read which is certainly a new one on me if it comes on to any of the leaves of the other toms....
