Hernia???!!!!
« on: March 10, 2007, 16:45 »
I have 2 chicks which are now 2 weeks old. They are Polish bantams. One of them semms to have rather a large breast whish I think is bigger on one side than the other. On looking at the skin I can ser blood vessels running across it and it is bigger on the right side. The other chick is OK. Could this be a hernia of some sought. It is eating, drinking and pooing OK  :?

Hi
I wouldn't worry about it just now. It might just be a distended crop. See how it gets on after all it's nothing infectious.
Cheers
