The shop I use is on a different site to my allotment, it covers a number of sites. Anybody can use it, we all have to pay £1 a year membership. I would have a chat with someone at a local site they may point you in the right direction.

If they are Council run allotments you may find the address on the Council's website, as ours is ;)

That's depressingly obvious - I could & should have thought of that!

and that.  Brain in neutral, as always :(.  Thanks both.

I get more halfwitted by the minute ...

Found the email address for the Chairman of the local Allotment Association. My EMail program told me I had emailed him before! found the email from 2009 where I had asked him "I am looking for an allotment association locally that sells materials - such as fertiliser and vegetable seed "in bulk"" and he had replied that they didn't sell fertiliser because most members were organic and only wanted Manure! I might try asking him again though ...

Can anyone tell me what the fish blood & bone is useful for?  Will it help my winter onions?  They just seem to be withering away.  :(

A slight derailment of the topic, but what plants like BFB.
Our Lottie shop sells it for 45 p per kilo.
But what should I use it on.
Thanks

BFB, Growmore & Vitax Q4 are all balanced feeds, I believe.
BFB is organic.
Growmore formulated by ICI during WW2 to increase food production. In-organic
Vitrex Q4 has additional trace elements. In-organic.
All can be used across the plot on all crops.
Additional feeds may be required ie. Tomato feed etc.
Above is only what I have picked up from other plot holders, so await correction from those with greater knowledge.

Slight variation on this theme, on very good authority, (established fellow allotmenteer  :tongue2:) I was told South West Lancashire Farmers Ltd sell lime for £10 per 25kg sack.
Wrong! £6.30!!!!  :D. They also sell various fertilisers in bulk form. Can I post their phone number? They don't seem to have a web-site. They have chicken runs & all sorts of things  :)

Probably best if you don't - but people can PM you for it if they want.

Jamie, the advert seems to say 125G of BFB for £1, yet the box depicted says 1.25KG on it? If it is 1.25KG then that seems to be a real bargain.
