Well done Sutty! And also well done Missie for your monster second placement!!

As a suggestion, for next year, you could look at 2 categories? Heaviest and also, largest, one winner in each category?? That way, people with bad backs for lifting/weighing can still take part in the fun?

Just a thought why dont we cross-over the sunflower and pumpkin comps.

Go for:
Tallest pumpkin
Heaviest sunflower

That way easy for everyone to measure and no one will get injured :) :D :) :D :) :D

But seriously if peolpe like jamie and bigB are willing to run these comps  i think they should set the rules. At the end of the day the main theme is to have a laugh and a bit of banter!

I like the heaviest sunflower competition and tallest pumpkin     :D

But a set of rules is needed :D

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

LOL very funny! :D
I agree that its easier for whoever running the comp to set the rules... just making a suggestion to keep everyone happy?! Diplomacy eh? More fun when its inclusive.

As for heaviest sunflower... what about largest pea? Then i might have a chance....

Sorry I didnt get back in time well done to the winner ,I dont know the measurment of mine but it went on the scales at over 60lb I cant say exactly because the guess the weight draw will be done again next week in church . But I raised £30 on bonfire night so if it raises any more it will be a decent gift to charity

thanks for running the comp see you next year
If the early bird gets the worm how come the 2nd mouse to the trap gets the cheese ??
