you're supposed to heat them again, ie in the microwave (but keep a very close eye on them and keep the temperature down) or in a pan of boiling water, then the clicker should let you click it again to resolidify and reheat.

I think I may get a few of these as stocking fillers and maybe a few for myself  8)

I have some from a different source.  It says :

to boil in a saucepan for 15 minutes until gel is liquified;
keep away from the surface of the pan (I wrap it in an old small hand towel / flannel);
not to put it in a microwave oven (after all it does contain metal).

And to let it cool before reactivating.

These instructions certainly work on mine.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

tried both this and the microwave but every time they cooled they just went back to being solid :?   maybe i got a couple of dodgy packs.

you didn't let them heat up again enough then Jenny.  I've had this happen and it was simply that they got to an almost liquid state but that some of the crystals were still evident.

Hint:  don't put them in the saucepan then forget about them either; they stink the house out for days  :oops:

oh?  even tho i kept putting them back when i still saw crystals? i got too fed up in the end with them and i just figured if i ever got some more i'd buy some from somewhere a little more up market then Lidls, i recall a stall at bluewater shopping centre selling only those things and they looked a bit better that the ones i got from lidls - but then they were of course more expensive too - maybe a case of you get what you pay for?

We've got a few of these from different sources, and they do work well as long as you boil them for long enough, at least the 15 mins recommended if not a little more.
