Alice has a huge glut of aubergines this year, and still no idea what to make with them. Her friend Martha suggested a chutney would be nice, and great for Christmas presents too.

Bob was watching the TV the other night and was shocked about the amount of food people waste. So was John, who wrote a little blog about it.

Alex’s plastic poultry drinker has cracked in the cold weather. Now he thinks it is time to buy himself a galvanised one to last through the colder winter months.

Ann only has a small garden to work with, and has decided to try square foot gardening using raised beds. This means she needs to buy herself a raised bed kit.

We had nearly a hundred entries for the competition, 85 of which were correct. These were then numbered in order of receipt and we used random.org to generate a number between 1 and 85 inclusive. Number 78 was the winner, so congratulations to David Ward from Derby
