Cauliflower
« on: October 14, 2012, 20:22 »
Was up the plot today and discovered that I have six cauli's all about the size of golf balls - have never succeeded in getting cauli's before so I am really excited.  Will they fill out a bit more or is it too late in the year.  Is there anything I need to do with them?

If you can see the curds, (the flower bit), they won't get much bigger before they "blow", (expand and then go to seed).

The only thing you can do with them is to cut them and eat them.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Mine are still getting bigger, they are growing bigger than the ones you see in the supermarket, I would leave them and see what they do. I have covered them over with the leaves as well.
