Removing seedlings from heated propagator
« on: March 11, 2018, 21:22 »
I have a large heated propagator/heated bench (8ft x 2ft).   One half is set up as a propagator with a perspex cover on it, the other half can either be left open as a heated bench or I have a sheet of perspex from an old broken greenhouse that I can put over it to boost the heat and start seeds off.

Most of the seeds that were sown in the propagator part are now ready for pricking out and I am just wondering what I need to move to the heated bench and what I should take off the heat altogether.

The Tomatos I know need to stay on the heat bench.  What about Celery and Celeriac, Lupins, Delphiniums, Hollyhocks, Broccali, Cauliflower, broad beans, sweet pea and Leeks.

I've removed all of my brassicas, leeks and onions from the heated propagators as soon as they are properly through the compost and they are all growing away well.

Great they will all be pricked out and moved to the staging on the opposite side in the next two days.
