Lotty's first chicks
« on: April 12, 2012, 13:56 »
My Partridge Wyandotte Bantam has been an absolute star sitting on a clutch of 6 Welsummer Bantam eggs and some have hatched today.  It is my late Nanas Birthday so I will never forget the date my first chicks hatched.

There are 2 that I know of and both looked to have the markings of girls.

Here are the first photos.

6 out of 6 hatched, I am so chuffed.  I think (as a novice) that there is 4 female and 2 male.  Will have to wait and see if I am right.   :D

I did nearly put "Chick en a Basket".

Some members will be too young to remember the popular Pub Grub though.   Don't know what the slice of Orange was all about though!
