Well disaster this morning.

OH has just informed me that the 2 giant pumpkin plants we had have been eaten last night along with a corgette and 3 butternut squashes.

They have eaten through the stems and left the leaves apparently.
She lifted the tray that they were sat in to find 2 rather large slugs  >:(
She is now on slug patrol under the other trays and pots.

The little *******  >:(  >:(

So thats me out of the running.  :(

Oooops, before I hear the angry flutter of words in my direction, only just noticed the previous post...my "Ha, ha" was definitely NOT aimed at Stompy's poor loss by slugs, just the entire thread (read the first couple of pages)!!!

Stompy, sow again, still plenty of time...

Phill  :)

Add me please. One which survived the frost is now about three foot in length
All the way from my allotment in beautiful Derbyshire. I'm in year 3 of my allotment and wish I'd caught the bug years ago, things growing from strength to strength

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
