I've been looking at a pure embroidery kit and putting myself off starting it!!
I can cross-stitch but not embroider

Bet you can    It's pretty easy to do these flowers.  I'm no great crafter, but its all just french knots and basic stitches.

My summer border piece is done    I used some flowers that I had patterns for and made some up myself.  Its on the same natural linen fabric I used before.



This is it hanging with the spring garden one.



I have another of the smaller frames so am hatching a plan for a piece based on the corner of a herbalists garden.  It would mean I would have to think up most of it myself, but I've been through my herb book choosing colours and thinking about stitches and I think I can do it 

Time will tell, but it could keep me occupied for the next few weeks if the weather stays so dreary and the real gardening can't get done

Here are a few things I've made recently,
This first one was my first 'proper' cross stitch I made as a housewarming gift for my sister

I also made her this for Christmas, I'd made one for me but it's put away now before I took a picture

They look great im deffanatly getting more crafty for next Christmas trouble is i think of things too late but im making up a lost im going to get some clear baubles and put names on them in glitter for the family .

Yes Chrissie I often think of things too late. The tree bunting I made 2or 3 years ago for my daughter in law & sister & then started knitting more trees after Christmas but forgot about them until too late the Christmas before last, so they've been a long time in the making lol !. I put pictures up on Facebook & 4 friends have enquired if I'm making them to sell, so I've started knitting more.
I've just made this this afternoon for our little granddaughter.

Thanks both, friends who received the bunting, loved it as did my sister when she got the box,she had bunting a couple of years ago when I made the originals
