 Now that the conkers are in season so to speak what is the best way toplant and grow these.

The squirrels just seem to plant them a couple of inches deep and they come up in my borders!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Soak them in vinegar, back them in an oven, then make a hole and put on a string  :nowink:

But for health and safety reasons you are not allowed to do that - I'm guessing nature waits for a squirrel to puck it up and bury it somewhere and then forget where it put it until a tree grows to remind them and provide yet another tree for them to live in  :lol:

Conkers  ::) used to love them as a kid, tried to grow a tree many times and never managed it as a child.
Now we will be conker free as someone's skin flares to conker residue. Thats the lesson for this week over and done with  ::)
