unexpected veg!

I found a turnip and several parsnips in the middle of weeds (bindweed) and sticks... I don't know if I should pull them out and if they are even good to eat.
The turnip is about the size of a grapefruit and the parsnips are rather skinny.

Well, Lily, I'd pull them out and tyr them. They aren't doing anyone any good in the ground!!
