Soya Beans?

Has anyone ever tried growing Soya Beans on their plot?
If so where did they get the seed from, I would like to try and plant a few next season! Preferrably not GM modified!!!!!

try contcting thompson and morgan for the seed .its called ustie . results havent been very good from what i understand .but thats about all i can say .

I've had a heck of a time trying to get soya to grow. I tried starting some off in modules.. they'd have VERY low germination (1seedling out of 5 modules, each module had 2 seeds in it) and would die after a while but didn't look like damping off or anything. It's been very frustrating for me because I love edamame (soybeans in their pods and still green) and I'm generally pretty good at growing just about anything I try.
