Bless him, look at those beady eyes on the lookout for worms you may have dug up for him  :D
I've got a pair of thrushes, frogs, snails and several wood pigeons hanging around my little patch. No rabbits, thankfully!

It's amazing how when you've been digging for ages and your back aches and you're cold and fed up, a Robin can turn up and suddenly, you're digging away to find a worm for him. :D
Love 'em. :)

Good stuff.  I was out today and looked up to see 3 red kites having a tussel with some buzzards  :)  Looked great against a fine blue sky.

We've pheasants hanging around on the site. :) Saw a sparrowhawk the other night (much to the magpies disgust) and also said magpie has a nest within eyeshot of the plot. :) (Probably why it was so cross at the sparrowhawk!) We have more than one tawny owl and also a lesser spotted woodpecker nearby !

I'm very lucky in the amount and variety of flaura and fauna around my lottie. Robins, blackbirds, toads, newts, b*n***s, badgers, foxes, squirrels, moles, pigeons, you name it I've got it! Even more so if you add in what I see in the garden. Ok so most of those are considered as pests, but only the pigeons and b*n***s are a real problem, the moles moved out as I started digging, and haven't come back. Everything has it's place in the food chain, and there's very little in the way of slugs and snails, and other little nasties.

I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

Odd that you should ask that - I was wondering too  ???

The rats (I hope) have completely moved out... or are keeping themselves to themselves since the new shed went up  :)  and the local take-away changed hands!

I seem to have a fox that turns up every now and then to help aerate the compost heap.. not that it makes that good a job of it... just a few very large holes here and there to show it's been by.

Blackbirds, robins and huge flapping pigeons are often about. The blackbirds are the most friendly almost getting in the way when I am digging. I have to wait for one particular one to move so I can get the fork back in the soil.  :)

I get robins, blackbirds and pigeons in my back garden and have recently noticed sparrows too.  One year there was a bumble bee nest but I think the wet weather killed it.  Also seen a fox at 5am, and any cats get pelted with coal.  A squirrel used to come along every morning until I fired a catapult at it, not been seen since.  And I have an old builder's bag which always has frogs underneath, wherever I move it to in the garden.

Fox walks past along the back of the shed he was sat on the plot the day we looked at it as well. blue tits nesting in a box on the shed next door. collard doves around as well.  so fair bit going on really
