just did a search for you, theres only 3 topics with that name mentioned - but they would be no use to you.

didnt you check how many seeds you'd get before you bought them?

There are a few places you can get them from still, (I obviously did a different search), Amazon being one of them, but oddly enough not Unwins, so they seem to be discontinued.

We had this discussion recently in the same vein regarding cucumbers.

However, there is something you can do with tomatoes, that you can't with cucumbers. When you take the side shoots out, pop them in a pot of compost, and very soon you'll have a new plant - they root very easily and you can cut your losses.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

The seed packet clearly shows 6 seeds.....so it's up to you whether you buy them or not  ;)

Slightly off subject.....my daughter bought me some Brussels seeds. £2.99 for 15 F1 seeds from....you guessed it....Unwins. The De Rey packet had 200 seeds for 99p.......
Hmmmmm.....

Some more expensive seed are well worth it. For example Clapton F1 cauliflowers that will actually produce a curd despite club root. A lot of the seemingly better value brussels seed will produce less sprouts that are not blown.

I like to find the happy medium!

I'll gladly buy a packet of cucumber seed that says 4 for £6.99, but only in the Wyevale 50p end of year sale!

I've been given a load of unwins packets of seed - I like their confidence on the packets.

It says '6 plants', not 6 seeds!
