I seem to have no problem in fact I have over sown and they took some thinning. This year I have red and white spring onions. As an experiment I leaft a short row in over the winter. There are still 3 onions in and thay are the size of the spring onions you see on Spanish markets.

I've had 4 years of failures with them too, despite following DD's advise to the letter last year   I have a brand new packet of White Lisbon to try this year.

Funny enough I have more problems getting spring onions to germinate than parsnips
