Why BB? Don't you like your own competition on here? I was going to post a photo of my first year attempts, but I've just caught the second of three going past it, so I'm roasting it now. I need to take some lessons in how to ripen indoors.

oh i love my competition on here  its just i really would like to go to a pumpkin cometition and see what Giant pumpkin growing is like(as i have been told it can get quite competitive), and i like seeing other peoples pumpkins  :happy:

I don't know where you are in Bucks, but I would think that you might find that sort of thing happening at villages shows and such like?

it mght help finding one, i'm willing to travel a bit to get to the comp so even if it was outside bucks i might still be able to do it

just to let you know today is Spaldings Pumpkin festival - not sure if they have a giant pumpkin competition included in the festivities or not.
