"What about a pic of a cooked meal / plate of food / cake/ salad/ etc.. that has been made using at least 2 / 3 /4  ingredients that have been home grown."

And the recipe if it requires one?  ;)

We could have 2 categories.  Up to 3 homegrown ingredients and 3 or more ingredients.  Then have a knock-out between the two winning photos to find the overall winner. :)

Would my homegrown guinea fowl or chicken with a side order of nettles and apples count (don't grow much else)  :D

Well it wouldn't be down to me to decide but i cant see why not.  Think what a lovely photo a roast chicken would make :) or just a dish of  roast pots or parsnips or chips.  It wouldn't need to be elaborate stuff  just made using  mostly your own stuff.

Its all starting to sound a bit complicated isn't it ::) it seemed a good idea an hour ago
Think I'll go to bed

Sometimes sleeping on things is a good idea... less of a head-ache in the morning  ;)

In Leicestershire I, as a Master Composter,  am organising two competitions to promote Compost Awareness Week in May 2011. These are Best Compost and Best Painted compost bin. You are welcome to join us  as a supporter of the Leicestershire Best Compost competition (this actually requires a sample to be submitted which might be difficult on the net) but why not have a nation wide best painted bin competition. which is based on photos. We normally get prizes donated by sullpiers and last year the Community composting network also made a grant to help.  It is fun  and encourages people to take an interest in composting.

It's a scheme run by "Garden Organic" to encourage people to make compost.
