Camellia & Magnolia Cuttings
« on: April 23, 2006, 23:12 »
Well ive had ago at doing my own Camellia & Magnolia Cuttings... and after 3 weeks some have started to root...

Wot i did was mixed a bag of water gel crystals in 1 pint of water and added about half a 4 inch pot of multi purpose compost, mixed it all together and let it form a gel... I dipped my cuttings (after scrapping the stems) in hormone rooting powder and its worked :) :)

Will wait a yr now and will b able to sell them (to work hehehehe)

I've grown tomatoes from cuttings - take a side shoot , remove lower leaves and stick it in to some compost. Worked a treat.

Val pinches out the tops of fuscias and these she roots on into new plants as well.

I was thinking that if they were in little pots all the soil would come out.

It's allways the simple things that confuse me :) (they're simple when I understand them!)
