 Without some form of scale, I think it looks like a Plum moth caterpillar. In which fruit or veg was it found? Cheers,  Tony.

Could be click beetle larvae, but there are several types.

If you found it in  amongst your potatoes and the tubers have tunnels eaten into them, it is wireworm.  They are common in soil which has recently been converted from grass into growing land.
