Hi Celtic Eagle -Me and Mrs.Novice went to Mike Robinsons ( celeb chef )pub in deepest Berkshire a couple of times this year. He has a kitchen garden and provides as much as he can for the pub....so good on him for that, and maybe its OK even in these days of uber-food police
Mind you, I'm lead to believe he also goes into the woods and shoots muntjac deer for the menu, so maybe the nanny state has no idea what goes on there  :?
