about 3 weeks ago we found a young cockerel in our lottie,he had butt feathers missing and was desperate to get in with our hens .no one claimed him so we put him in with our hens .now when i go in to feed them he puffs his head feathers up is this a sign hes going to attack? if so how do i stop him my daughters now frightened to go in with them and im not very keen myself :(

he is just showing off is all . take a 18x 18 ply board with hole for a handle ( bit like a pig board ) and if he tries to have a pop shove him back with it forcibly   show him ur top cockerel if that fails .... cock invan
