Dug up the last 6 parsnips and the remainder of the carrots. Harvested some sprouts that were as big as golf balls! Last of the spinach, 6 leeks and a few bits of Kale. Not much left on the plot now to harvest, just a load of sprouts, a few swede, kale and some leeks. Still waiting for the purple sprouting broccoli to sprout.

Dug up the last of the carrots, about a carrier bag full, nine pathetic swedes and two sacks of parsnips.
I also picked the first bunch of daffodils which was an unexpected treat.

As per my diary........

A quick raid on the plot today before the threatened snow arrives.

The last Savoy cabbage (still got quite a few JK's), swede (can't believe this), giant parsnip, sprouts, leeks and unexpectedly - the first haul of purple sprouters, quite a good picking as well!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

The last of the swede from the allotment and the last picking of winter salad mix from the greenhouse.  The salad has been going for months, but binned it today as it was getting leggy and also very hot   It was mostly made up of mixed mustard greens and they were getting to the eye watering stage

First harvest for me too, lemon thyme and some chives to go with dinner. THis time last year I'd already had £25 worth of crops.

Greens, overwintered onions (I grow extra to use over spring as green onions), a handful of garlic chives and a green garlic - again I overdo it so I have spare to use early  :)
