I got the sieve too granny! :)

So did I  :D  Just the job for covering seeds with nice fine compost.

Also bought some seed compost, and a 4 shelf mini greenhouse thing to use for hardening off trays and pots of veg before they are planted out (trying to lug them in and out of the greenhouse proper every day is a real pain when I am running late for work and likely to end in disaster - I can just unzip the front)

And --- a calamondin orange standard tree about three feet tall for £15, with some of my birthday money  :D :D :D

Couple of raised beds for me (a bargain for 6.99 even if they only last for a few years) but might have to go back for a sieve now!  ::)

What do you think?  It looks like it may rust easily.
If it's the same one as last year it's a good buy.  Light but durable - no rust one year on.  The fine sieve is very good for sieving compost and vermiculite for seedlings.  Very nice  :D

It looks like it's the same sieve as I bought last year - I have to confess I've been a little careless with it   and left it outside all winter!  I have to confirm I used it the othe weekend for sieving compost for seeds and it had no signs of rust at all!   :D (lucky perhaps!)

Hannah :)

p.s. they have more gardening offers next week at well:

Thanks Shhozie and Willow Warren.  May just last me a while then if I look after it.

I usually buy the cheap plastic ones, but they go brittle after 2-3 years.  The exception is a rectangular plastic one that I bought from a little nursery that was closing down in 2006.  The plastic is a bit 'softer' than the cheapo ones and the mess is metal.

That is still going strong, but I wanted the Aldi one as it's round and a bit smaller.
