After a little sprinkling yesterday we've not had one snowflake today.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

1 or 2 flakes, but nothing to write home about.  As they adjusted the northern line of the snow, we fell out of the warning area (York).  Just spoke to Mum in S Herts and she had about 4 hours this morning.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Started at 4 am and is still going now!
Construction of the new polytunnel is now on hold till it's thawed sadly, which may delay my onion seed sowing until January ( was hoping to get them done on boxing day and keep them under double cover).

No snow here.... just lots of rain last night and cold winds through the day.

Not really expecting snow until the usual time.... end of February to early March and then only to keep the rest of the UK company as it's normally gone in a matter of hours. But who knows - once in a while we do get a bigger share.

Keep warm you tough lot to the north ;)

Plenty of snow on Sunday morning here in East Midlands, which started to thaw in afternoon, and then down to -2 overnight. Tuesday morning forecast to be as low as -12.

Cold last night so we kept the snow we had, but no more arrived.  Just thawing now ....  All schools closed, no buses, or dentist etc etc.  Main street and road passable with care, but our lane, not a prayer.  The kids are already on the sledging field making the most of it.

Sleet in Horsham and lying wet snow at my workplace on Holmbury hill. Ususal low-lying English snow, an inch that just about settles then melts the same day, followed by an overnight freeze and black ice the next morning. Everywhere is soaking wet now so pointless doing any winter digging. The most unpleasant type of winter weather without being destructive.

Expected snow here in West Wales but have not seen a snowflake in the past couple of days .

Got to say that the new format not showing your location on posts takes a lot of the interest out of threads like this.
It is bound to do the same on growing threads across the nation when the warmer weather arrives. :(

We must be on the borderline, as I can see big flakes of snow falling  heavily, but it's just wetness by the time it hits the ground. Very windy again today as well!

Thought we could be in for some, but again not a single flake. I agree that posters' locations should be re-instated as it really helps us to give advice plus the Mods and others would ask us to state where we lived in our profile.

We have ended up with around 7" of accumulated snow (or at least that's what's on the shed roof) since Friday. Still no sign of any gritters yet, but I've not been able to get out of the road at ML's since Sunday Morning so they may have done the main roads.

Please look at Forum Upgrade in The Notice Board - Page 1 of 1 and you will see that re-instating Profile Location is at the top of John's Tweak List.
