Hi all,
I have 6 young ( 12 week old ) runner ducks, Being a total novice at keeping ducks, could anybody tell me how to sex them please. I am told only females Quack !!.is there another way of telling what sex they are.
You advice would be really appreciated.

There is a difference in the quack but I ciuld never get it. The males will have a curled/curved tail.

You can sex them at a day old although it's unreliable if you're a beginner.  Mine all seemed to quack to start with then the drake got what sounded like a sore throat then the telltale curly tail came!
