Cucino vs Diva cucumbers
« on: June 12, 2014, 22:39 »
Hi
I have successfully grown Diva in the past but this year I've gone with Cucino.  The plants are around 6" tall and both have flowers. Each one has a growing cucumber about 2.5" long. So far so good.  However,  I recall Diva used to have lots of tendrils and wouldn't need any help climbing up the chicken wire support. Cucino hardly has any tendrils at all and I've had to tie them up to support the weight of the baby cucumbers.

Is this normal for Cucino?

Thanks
