Title: Soya Beans
Post by: Plot 1 Problems on May 14, 2018, 21:55
I'm just about to plant out my first attempt at soya beans this week, I was wondering if anyone else had experience of growing them as I don't know if they need support or not? How tall do they usually grow?

I grow them quite regularly.  They do need short canes and some string to support them.

I have Elena this year as usual, plus some black ones that grow much taller, well that is if they grow   I'm taking a bit of a punt on them I think, even though they are supposed to be selected for UK growing

Thanks for that, I guessed they'd need a cane for support but wasn't sure.

I'm growing soya and lentils for the first time this year. Thought i'd try something different.
