Hello amyt,

I would spray some "purple spray" if you have some, or a smear of germoline or similar should do the trick. Purple spray is a good product to have on standby because as well as disinfecting wounds, the purple colour disguises the red of the blood so helps prevent other birds from being attracted and pecking the wound. However, if there is lot of damage, or looks red and hot indicating a possible infection then I would pop her down to the vets for a look and a course of anti-biotics.
Where abouts is the cut? :)

I have a little bottle of wound powder which is brilliant at stoping bleeding on hens feet.

This sort of thing http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=746

Clean the cut out with iodine then keep her seperate on clean DRY litter.
If the foot swells or gets warm it's infected and needs a vet.

In a pinch use regular table sugar as blood stop powder. It has antiseptic properties as well. Here is an excerpt from the link I am posting.

Sugar is an antiseptic and was historically used for treatment of wounds, even of gangrene, but is not used in modern medicine. It's antiseptic properties can also serve to preserve food. Sugar kills bacteria by osmosis, drawing water from the organism

With Bumblefoot one can make a poltice of Iodine and sugar and pack the puss pocket once it has been cleaned.

Honey works as well as a wound poultice, helps draw the puss. Bumblefoots a real pain to treat I use iodine to clean it out then bandage with a little magnesium sulphate.
