DD is probably just very busy harvesting all those peas    I know he's still around, probably buried up to his neck in peapods

Alright for some

Mkhenry (the site Grandad) seems to have wandered off as well.  I do wish people would say goodbye.  It's only polite after all.

Have you tried `Marco¬.The ones I refered to are the `music`variety which grows well even in this rotten weather and is good value at £6 for 1kg(about 100 cloves)though you can buy in smaller quantities.Anyway there`s plenty of time to decide,I usually plant late October.

You had Marco ones on your link,I just wondered if you had tried them before and what were they like.
The music variety are a good white hardneck type, about 6 cloves per bulb(so nice sized cloves) and they keep very well.

No, my misunderstanding,I thought you were recommending them.
aalso price wise you can do worse than to try ebay,OH assures me(non ebay user) that garlic is sold at good prices here..I feel an inhouse competition here to find good hard neck varieties :?
