As its not safe to use jeyes in your chuck house any more
i use DURAMITEX with no ill efects on my chucks
its used in pigeon lofts and is available at pet shops
just dilute as directed and spray away it kills all bugs inc red mite
i keep my chucks out for an hour or so then theres no probs :D

i use jeyes ? not heard anything about not using it and family usd it since it came into production .. yrs ago?

every one says since they changed contents of jeyes it can burn animals
i also found it made my skin burn even when diluted so now use Duramitex

Surely its fine to use Jeyes on the chookhouse if left to dry before letting chooks back in - and look at this:

i have been using both the new formula and the old one  in agricultural quantity conatiners for years  and not herad anything about it .but its werth keping an eye on just in case :wink:

I was going to say the same thing.  We bought some Jeyes last week, and it now has a large lable across the top saying kills bird flu, so a bit strange if you can't use it on birds!!!!

Still like Munty says, something to bear in mind.......

i know any jeyes is bad fer ferrets but i use it on all my  yards and dogs stuff and all my birds are fine as are my dogs
