21C and sunny - forecast to be the best day of the week - yet another mention of thunderstorms from Wednesday onwards (yet to have one this year despite several 'yellow warnings' but they're bound to be right eventually!  )

a bit windy, but not as windy as yesterday. Sunshine, a nice 14 degrees. It's supposed to get up to 18 degrees today, and even 20 tomorrow (the hottest day of the year so far). Not looking forward to that Prefer when it's under 18 degrees!

The rain has just started here.  There have been a couple of rumbles of thunder as well.  Its been a very hot humid day, so it is all very welcome

Serious rain here a couple of hours ago. Calmed down now but quite a vigorous thunderstorm with lightening within a mile of here. Good for my water butt though.😉😉

Still no rain here - it looks to have gone to the east and west of us - so much for the 12mm we were forecast.

We had, (according to my new rain gauge), 6mm here in Clacton on Sea at 0300 + during the thunderstorm.

Not a drop here - still got the yellow warning triangle for storms though. 

18C and 90% humidity at the moment, so a storm wouldn't go amiss, although the garden would probably prefer something gentler.

Another thunderstorm passed through here at about 2.00 AM this morning that plus the earlier rain had completely filled my water butt.

We had quite a bit of thunder and lightening last night and the rain got very heavy at times.  This morning it is very grey, there is a lot of moisture in the air and everything in the garden is drippy.

Yes, cracking storm at 2am watched it for ages before it started to move away. 18mm rain according to the weather station (literally just around the corner)

Yippee! Heavy rain in the last hour here too Lardman, but it's stopped now (if the yippee font size was the same as the quantity (4mm) it would be invisible.  )

First rain for 9 days, and that wasn't much - maybe a bit more to come a little later this morning...
