I thought we might me in Autumn mode, but it seems we've gone straight to Winter 
Down to 6C overnight in the greenhouse and only 9C now *sigh*

Just looked at the forecast, and the high is only 14C  It's a shame for anyone taking a late holiday...

Its been much nicer here than forecast.  No heatwave, but the rain has stayed off and I got a load of tidying and moving done in the garden at home. 

New shed on its way in a few weeks, so that has made me focus a bit on making sure the route is clear

After a very hefty prolonged down-pour on Saturday complete with what almost looked like hail, today the sun is out.

Generally temperatures are lower than normal for this time of year with chilly nights but 16C today - feels warmer in the sun

Just had another downpour with hail!! So much for cloudy all day & rain after 6p.m. Don't think the forecast has been correct for weeks👿

A topsy-turvy day, started off cool and cloudy, then it was sunny and warm at lunchtime  then the sky went dark and we've just had a hailstorm. Now we're back to cool and cloudy

Overnight grass frost, low of 3C in polytunnel. Temp at 12C by 9.30 and quite sunny

Bright and comfortable out this morning - now back to the gloom and grey cotton wool clouds.

Where oh where are the bright orange and red filled autumns or even the last few days of summer clinging on?

It dipped down to 5.6C in the greenhouse overnight  so I'm glad I brought all my squash under cover.

Forecast is to warm up a bit later in the week, but the damage has been done. Time to begin the winter clear up, I think, much earlier than the last few years

I think you're right - I've often managed to keep the greenhouse tomatoes going until November but not this year.

We had a builder coming today to re-do the flat roof on the porch but he's not shown up. Maybe due to the rain and high winds! I'm beginning to wonder if the met office should stop messing around with those super-computers and go back to the fir-cone and strip of seaweed method. As Yoda might say: "Accurate not your forecasts are"

It certainly has been sunny on the plot most of the day - I quickly took of my cardi  still in t-shirt mode with 19C now, the high was 21C at 3pm

Just started a week's holiday just outside Tenby - cottage is superb with views of the sea. Clue to the current weather: we can't actually see the sea! Hopefully it will dry up a bit later.
