« on: October 14, 2009, 21:58 »
Hi, I have clay soil which is acid and i am going to apply some lime to help with the texture of the soil and the ph. I am also going to use a mulch of leaf mold. Which do I apply 1st, the lime or the leaf mold? CC

I would add the lime now so that it has time to work before Spring. Work it in a bit if the soil is not too wet.

Wilco's usually have good deals on large tubs of lime.
