Had to drag this thread up from page 8 to reply!

Just lifted my Golden Gourmet and Mikor out of the ground having decided that despite the foliage only being yellow at the tips they weren't going to get any bigger no matter how long I left them there.

Decent crops from both, but the GG's seem to have stood up better to the March snow and therefore made stronger plants with more bulbs (average 6 per plant.) None of them bolted this year which is a first for me.  :)

All I've got to do now is find somewhere to dry them (there's about 150 of them and the sheltered space under the garden table is already occupied by drying garlic.)  :unsure:
